1 Hotel South Beach Trades for Record-Breaking $1.42 Million Per-Key

The 1 Hotel South Beach recently sold to Host Hotels for a record-breaking $610 million.  This sale represents a new per-room record for Miami-Dade at an impressive $1.42 Million per key.  This sale trumps the previous and recent record holder The Raleigh Hotel Miami Beach which sold for $1.24 million per key or $103 million in February.

The prior owners of the 429-room luxury hotel located at 102 24th Street, Starwood Capital Group and LeFrak will continue to manage the day to day operations of the 1Hotel luxury resort in Miami Beach.

Host Hotels is a spinoff of Marriott International and is owned by Richard and Bill Marriott. It is one of the largest real estate investment trusts in the U.S.  Host Hotels also owns the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay, the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa, and YVE Hotel Miami.
